Democratic National Convention Night 2 Speeches and Roll Call: Madeleine Albright, Bill Clinton

Day 2 of the 2016 Democratic National Convention (July 26, 2016) was one for the history books. The roll call occurred, with each state announcing their delegate totals. On this day, Hillary Clinton officially became the Democratic nominee!



Hillary and her family celebrated the moment on Twitter:




The night ended with speeches from former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and the headliner himself, former President Bill Clinton.

Bill Clinton's speech really was magnificent and will no doubt be considered one of the highlights of this year's Democratic National Convention.

Wednesday night, we'll hear from President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Hillary's running mate Senator Tim Kaine. Then Hillary Clinton will give her acceptance speech (with an intro by Chelsea) on Thursday.
